We are a training company based in London. We not only offer HSE-approved First Aid courses, we also offer high quality Health and Safety and Social Care courses.
Our courses are held at the Strand Palace hotel in Charing Cross, Tottenham Court Road, 2 mins from Warren St tube station, Balham (2 minutes from Balham tube and train station) or at clients' premises if requested. New! We now offer QCF courses.Recently, we have been approved to offer QCF courses. QCF is the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF), the new framework for recognizing accredited qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. (see below for a brief explanation about QCF). What is QCF?
The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the new framework for recognising accredited qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. (Scotland has its own system - the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework.)
It does this by awarding credit for units (small steps of learning) and enables learners to gain qualifications at their own pace along flexible routes.
You can read more about QCF at http://www.ofqual.gov.uk/qualifications-and-assessments/qualification-frameworks/.
For more information, please call or email email us. We very much look forward to helping you meet your training needs.
"Our instructor (Tom) immediately involved other attendees of the course and spoke with them about personal issues with commendable sensitivity and efficacy, he came across as a thoroughly decent professional, actively passionate about his work. Protecting lives at risk!"
"This trainer creates a safe learning environment, uses positive reinforcement, is approachable, mixes learning styles to suit all participants and has a good sense of humour which helps students to relax and engage with material. "
"The trainer was friendly and approachable. He is experienced and tells stories of his experience with warmth and good humour. He was very encouraging in the practical elements of the course and was willing to demonstrate things repeatedly until we felt confident in our skills. It was an informative and entertaining day. "
*The HSE only approve two types of First Aid courses. The three-day First Aid at Work (FAW) with its two day requalification and the one-day Emergency First Aid at Work course, and no others. Other courses are taught under the guidelines of the HSE and other bodies.
